Adult Acne
Acne is almost notoriously associated with teens, but are they the only ones with the problem? Maybe they are the only ones lacking the tools to hide or fix the situation. It was found that almost twenty five percent of adult males deal with acne, while nearly fifty percent of adult females do. Yikes! Does it seem that noticeable to you? While it seems to me that nearly every teenager experiences random unwanted growths on their face nearly every day. How do so many adults keep this huge problem under wraps? I think as time goes on, we learn more ways to deal with the acne, and try harder to find a way to avoid the noticeable “visitors.” I know that acne as a teenager is a tough bone to break, and some cannot be healed with the best treatments money can buy, so what changes as we enter adulthood? One tough part of the aftermath of adult acne, is that our skin is not in the same condition it was in years ago, and thus has a harder time healing, creating even more scars and long lasting side effects.
