Teenager Skin
I always feel so bad for people that have issues with their skin, like severe acne. I think most of the time that it is something that is just hereditary and that you really can only change by seeing a dermatologist. I was told when I was a teenager that eating the things that I was eating (that most teenagers eat) is what causes them to have a bad complexions. I am not a doctor, but it seems to me that eating does have something to do with how healthy your skin is or isn’t, but other factors such as heredity and hormones are an even bigger influence on the health of your face and skin. I agree that teenagers probably as a general rule do not eat very well. I think back to my days as a teenager and wonder why I didn’t weigh 350 pounds and was covered in acne. When you are younger your body is changing so much that it really withstands a lot of the bad things we do tend to put our bodies through. I count myself lucky that the zits that I had to deal with were fairly small, and caused no permanent damage. I am also glad that there are plenty of products available to help battle these issues for teenagers now.
